Director, Search & Evaluation Project Management (Neuroscience)

Location: Hybrid role in North Chicago, Illinois, United States; at least three days onsite each week required.

Salary: $160,500–$305,000 base pay per year.

What you will do

• Support Search and Evaluation leads across active diligences.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities, deliverables, and discussions with internal subject matter experts and external partners.
• Contribute program management and strategic perspectives to research collaborations, licensing, investments, and acquisition opportunities.
• Identify, communicate, and manage risks across the deal portfolio.
• Drive cross-functional alignment, structure decision-making discussions, and support governance processes.
• Monitor team performance, share learnings, and coordinate external partnering event schedules with Search and Evaluation operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; an advanced degree such as a PhD, MBA, or PharmD is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a master’s degree, or 4 years with a PhD.
• 5–7+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in drug development, business development, or a related area.
• Strong scientific expertise in one or more key therapeutic areas and experience as a scientific member of drug development projects.
• Experience managing partnering or diligence processes and governance for deal approvals, with strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite at the hirify.global offices at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in neuroscience research, strategy, or diligence.
• Advanced degree such as a PhD, MBA, or PharmD.
