Manufacturing Supervisor I (1st Shift-6:30am-3pm)

Location: Onsite in North Chicago, Illinois, United States; 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Salary: $75,000–$142,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead safe manufacturing operations and promote a zero-incident safety culture on the production floor.
• Deploy team members, delegate work, coordinate shift activities, and ensure effective handovers.
• Maintain production schedules, manage cycle and change-over times, and identify operational improvements.
• Ensure material checks, line clearances, spot checks, and other compliance activities are completed.
• Train, engage, and develop direct reports through regular feedback, performance reviews, and development plans.
• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with internal procedures and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a science or engineering degree is strongly preferred.
• At least two years of manufacturing or related experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of safety, quality systems, cGMPs, and documentation in a highly regulated environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems such as SAP.
• Strong writing skills; aseptic production experience is desirable.
