Technician, Manufacturing III (M-F) (Biologics)

What you will do

• Perform cGMP manufacturing operations in a biologics production facility.
• Prepare equipment using CIP and SIP processes and operate glass washers and autoclaves.
• Prepare buffers and media and perform cell culture from vial thaw through production scale.
• Conduct column chromatography and tangential flow filtration.
• Sample in-process and raw materials, perform quality testing, and support rework activities.
• Use LIMS, SAP, and automated control systems to collect and evaluate operating data and support process adjustments.

Requirements

• Associate degree in science or equivalent experience.
• Substantial understanding of the work and ability to complete a broad range of manufacturing tasks.
• Ability to use judgment when resolving moderately difficult issues and making recommendations.
• Preferred: 4+ years of relevant area-specific experience.
• Preferred alternative: bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant area-specific experience.
• Ability to work with limited daily instruction; may serve as an informal team leader.
