Location: Shenzhen Baoan, Guangdong, China; up to 50% travel required, including onsite customer support when needed.

What you will do
- Provide technical support for Laird products during mass production at contract manufacturing factories in South China.
- Investigate manufacturing and application issues and ensure products are applied according to design and process requirements.
- Analyze production defects and process deviations, optimize manufacturing parameters, and reduce scrap and rework.
- Collect failed samples, conduct preliminary root cause analysis, and support containment and corrective actions.
- Develop technical solutions to prevent recurring failures and identify production and material application risks.
- Train manufacturing teams on product application, material handling, failure modes, assembly, and installation best practices.
Requirements
- Knowledge or experience with thermal interface materials, EMI solutions, power inductors, and magnetic components.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as dispensing, die-cutting, automated assembly systems, and 8D methodology.
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Applied Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in telecommunications, datacom, automotive, industrial, or medical applications.
- At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production, or quality-related functions.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to teams, management, customers, and partners.
