Production Technician (Biotech)

Location: 100% onsite, Monday–Friday, in Milford, Massachusetts; local candidates only

What you will do

• Perform filtration, packing, buffer preparation, reagent additions, and manufacturing of in-stock buffers.
• Assemble, clean, operate, calibrate, and maintain production equipment, including filters, pumps, pipettes, pH and conductivity meters, osmometers, SUMs, and fume hoods.
• Follow manufacturing protocols, batch records, GMP requirements, and GDP documentation practices.
• Complete production calculations, including molarity, concentrations, dilutions, weighing, and pH or buffer adjustments.
• Track consumables, store raw materials and process intermediates, deliver QC samples, and complete disposal procedures.
• Identify mechanical, chemical, and safety hazards, maintain an organized production area, and train new technicians in filtration and packing activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of solutions, reagents, chemistry, molarity, concentration, mass, dimensional analysis, dilutions, and conversions.
• Fundamental knowledge of ISO standards and applicable regulations.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and safely handle chemicals, materials, and equipment.
• Must be a local candidate able to work onsite in Milford, Massachusetts, Monday–Friday.
