What you will do
- Prepare earnest money receipts, opening letters, acknowledgements, listing kits, and escrow file documentation.
- Order title commitments, legal and vesting information, payoff or assumption statements, and required inspections.
- Open refinance orders and prepare receipts for funds received from customers and lenders.
- Obtain releases, clear title requirements, update payoff and assumption figures, and cancel files according to office procedures.
- Answer customer and real estate questions and perform escrow receptionist duties when required.
- Open, sort, and file mail, print reports, and conduct business professionally and ethically.
Requirements
- Ability to prepare and maintain escrow files accurately and on time.
- Ability to coordinate title, payoff, release, and inspection information.
- Ability to respond to customer and real estate inquiries professionally.
- Ability to follow office procedures and handle confidential transaction documentation.
