Industry Solution Leader - Food & Agriculture (Agricultural Production)

Location: Redwood City, California, United States. Ability to travel to customer locations as required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Salary: $130,000–$203,000 USD annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own solution strategy, technical direction, delivery outcomes, and production scale for customer engagements.
• Lead customer discovery across agricultural production, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, pricing, and finance operations.
• Identify and quantify opportunities in demand planning, inventory, production, scheduling, pricing, procurement, fulfillment, and working capital.
• Translate operational challenges into AI, machine learning, optimization, and enterprise software solutions with defined constraints and success criteria.
• Lead cross-functional Forward Deployed Engineering, data science, product, and engineering teams through architecture, configuration, validation, deployment, and adoption.
• Partner with product, engineering, and sales teams to develop reusable methodologies, deployment plans, demonstrations, and scalable solution patterns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations research, supply chain management, industrial engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, planning, logistics, procurement, pricing, operations research, or technically focused consulting.
• Hands-on experience in agricultural production or agricultural supply-chain operations, including grower or harvest planning, feed or raw-material optimization, commodity inputs, perishability, allocation, yield, cost, inventory, or supply availability.
• Deep knowledge of supply chain planning, manufacturing operations, inventory optimization, production planning, scheduling, pricing, procurement, logistics, or network optimization.
• Experience with enterprise supply chain data and platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9, or similar systems.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future sponsorship, strong customer-facing leadership, analytical reasoning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI, machine learning, operations research, mathematical optimization, advanced analytics, or supply chain digital transformation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, analytics, optimization tools, application configuration, or scripting.
• Experience deploying and scaling forecasting, inventory, pricing, production, scheduling, network optimization, or decision-support solutions.
• Advanced degree in engineering, operations research, supply chain, analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
