Maintenance Technician (Night)

Location: Augusta, Georgia, United States; onsite night shift, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.; at least one weekend day available is required.

Pay: $31+ per hour, depending on experience. Sign-on bonus: $3,000.

What you will do

• Repair and install plant production equipment at a dry-ice facility.
• Complete assigned preventive maintenance and perform equipment inspections.
• Collaborate with production supervisors on repair functions and occasional production needs.
• Identify and report safety hazards and quality deficiencies to maintenance management.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
• Enter maintenance and inventory data and complete required cleanup activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Three years of maintenance experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn and repair plant production equipment.
• Formal training in one or more of industrial maintenance, hydraulics, industrial electrical systems, PLC programming, industrial refrigeration, compressors, or pneumatics.
• HazMat qualification is required.

• Forklift certification.
