Director, Product Compliance

Base salary: $89,900–$169,900 annually

What you will do

• Lead the regulatory team and manage technical and professional staff across its functions.
• Prioritize resources and maintain regulatory compliance across team responsibilities.
• Partner with senior management and business teams on product and rate design, development, regulatory filings, negotiations, and approvals.
• Oversee ongoing compliance, Market Conduct exams, complaint processes, reporting, Non-Standard processes, and implementation support.
• Build relationships with state and federal regulatory agencies, business partners, sales and field personnel, and legal and technical resources.
• Represent the regulatory team in decision-making and industry meetings while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8 years of industry experience, including 3 years of managerial experience.
• 5 years of relevant multi-line product knowledge.
• Extensive knowledge of the regulatory environment governing the business.
• Familiarity with regulatory team systems, strong technological skills, and strategic marketplace understanding.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
