Workday HCM Time Tracking and Absence Manager

Location: Chicago, United States; client travel of up to 50% may be required.

What you will do

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Design, shape, and deliver Workday HCM Time Tracking and Absence solutions aligned with client goals.
• Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and communicate results and risks to internal and client teams.
• Own project workstreams with limited supervision.
• Build long-term client relationships and collaborate with engagement teams.
• Mentor junior staff by sharing expertise, feedback, and guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of experience analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues, and working with business users.
• Required experience with Time Tracking and Absence management.
• 1–3 years of experience owning project workstreams with little to no supervision.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with functional or technical expertise in cloud-based enterprise solutions.
• Ability to travel up to 50% as needed to work with clients.
