Spring R&D Engineer Co-op (MedTech)

What you will do

• Support the device design process across one or two clinical trial or device development teams.
• Contribute to device design, builds, laboratory testing, test method development, and data interpretation.
• Support design verification and design validation activities.
• Use CAD, simulation, testing equipment, and fundamental engineering principles to develop design solutions.
• Prepare oral and written presentations and communicate technical information.
• Author, organize, review, and maintain technical documentation for product development.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, design, or another technical field.
• Experience with teamwork, collaboration, inclusion, and relationship building for project work.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, balance multiple projects, and work efficiently.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future employment visa sponsorship.
• Students relying on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT generally do not meet the program requirements unless eligible for an alternative long-term status without company sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master's degree studies in engineering or a related technical field.
• Previous product development and testing experience.
• CAD software experience, such as SolidWorks.
• Statistical analysis software experience, such as Minitab.
• Experience presenting complex information, customer insights, scenario analyses, and risk analyses to project teams.
