Manager, Advanced Analytics

Location: San Bruno, California, United States; onsite at 850 Cherry Ave

Annual salary: $104,000–$202,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor an analytics team, including coaching and performance feedback.
• Partner with leadership and business stakeholders to define analytics objectives and research plans.
• Manage end-to-end projects, including risk assessment, execution, and implementation oversight.
• Develop and validate advanced data models and algorithms using SQL and Python.
• Present data-driven recommendations that support pricing strategy and functional initiatives.
• Build cross-functional relationships and promote continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field plus 2 years of data analytics experience, or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making expertise.
• Experience building, coaching, and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data models, algorithms, and analytical solutions.
• Experience managing projects, assessing risks, and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings and influencing decisions.

Nice to have

• Certificate in business analytics, data mining, or statistical analysis.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Statistics.
