Clinical Data Operator (Austin, TX)

Location: On-site in Austin, TX, United States. Tuesday–Saturday day shift, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM.

Salary: $18 per hour starting rate

What you will do

• Create new orders and perform accessioning checks in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Accession blood, buccal, and tissue samples accurately and efficiently.
• Enter and maintain patient data and upload scanned requisition forms and supporting paperwork to cases.
• Handle protected health information in compliance with HIPAA and privacy policies.
• Sort incoming packages, transport them to the laboratory, and maintain clean, organized workstations.
• Follow laboratory SOPs, quality standards, and safe handling procedures for samples, tools, and kit packaging.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 year of industry-related experience.
• Previous computer experience; data entry experience is preferred.
• Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute with high accuracy.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, judgment, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on site in Austin, TX, Tuesday–Saturday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM.
