Automation Technician (Vaccine)

Location: Swiftwater, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite

Salary: $36.81–$49.08 per hour

What you will do

• Support automated process-control systems used in licensed vaccine manufacturing and clean utilities.
• Interface with Operations, Quality Assurance, Information Systems, Engineering, Maintenance, and site automation support teams.
• Troubleshoot automated process equipment, process systems, and complex automation installations.
• Investigate process deviations and provide technical expertise for process evaluations.
• Improve response times to manufacturing failures and implement site automation procedures and global engineering practices.

Requirements

• GED or high school diploma; an associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
• At least five years of automation and electromechanical engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience programming and configuring PLC and SCADA systems.
• Experience with Rockwell, Emerson DeltaV, Siemens Simatic, Schneider Electric, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View, WinCC, iFix, and Aveva Unified Galaxy.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including work with 120VAC–480VAC systems, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, instrumentation, and automation networks.
• Working knowledge of P&IDs, FDA CFR, NFPA/NEC, OSHA, DEP, EPA, ISA, ISPE, GAMP5, and pharmaceutical process and utility equipment.
