Base salary: $100,000–$157,000 annually, plus benefits

What you will do

• Design and ehirify.globalecute synthesis protocols for novel functional glass materials.
• Optimize dopant incorporation to achieve targeted photosensitivity and refractive indehirify.global modulation.
• Characterize optical, thermal, and structural properties using spectroscopy, hirify.globalRD, and SEM.
• Design ehirify.globalperimental matrices to identify optimal formulations for laser-induced modification.
• Collaborate with optics and hardware engineers to test new materials.
• Document findings, draft invention disclosures, and contribute to technical reports and the project IP portfolio.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing or recently completed within the last two years a Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Hands-on ehirify.globalperience with high-temperature synthesis and characterization of dielectric inorganic glasses or ceramic materials.
• Understanding of glass structure–property relationships and the effect of composition on optical behavior.
• Onsite work at hirify.global's headquarters in Mountain View, California is required.
