Base salary: $130,000–$190,000 annually for positions based in Boston, New York, or New Jersey; eligible for a bonus.

What you will do
- Manage commercial insurance product lines including General Liability, Automobile, Garage, Directors and Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Professional Liability, and Umbrella.
- Analyze portfolios and implement strategies for product penetration, technical price adequacy, filings, loss costs, and profitability.
- Act as the technical authority for underwriting referrals, authorities, manuscript forms, coverage revisions, and underwriting guidelines.
- Support Program Managers, Product Managers, Product Line Managers, and Product Development teams across new and existing portfolios.
- Report on premium, retention, rate achievement, losses, adverse trends, and profit improvement strategies.
- Strengthen catastrophe risk management by developing aggregation tools, reviewing guidelines, and identifying portfolio de-risking actions.
Requirements
- Experience in casualty underwriting or underwriting management.
- Strong understanding of admitted and non-admitted business requirements.
- Supervisory experience.
- Ability to travel 20%.
- Knowledge of ISOnet; existing relationships with ISO are preferred.
