Software Engineer and Analytic Developer (Java/Python)

Location: United States-linked role requiring Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly.

Salary: $260,000–$285,000 per year, plus $65,000–$71,000 in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions.

What you will do

• Maintain and advance a mission-essential business intelligence platform and improve its availability.
• Incrementally apply site reliability engineering principles to the existing operational platform.
• Gather stakeholder requirements, analyze data, and develop solutions for delivering key metrics.
• Develop analytics that combine, normalize, and enrich large data sets.
• Design and implement ETL workflows and integrate new tools and technologies.
• Provide technical guidance to junior software engineers and data scientists and create clear documentation.

Requirements

• Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly is required.
• At least 12 years of experience, plus a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or four additional years of experience instead of a degree.
• Production-grade software development experience with Java and Python.
• Experience or familiarity with site reliability engineering principles, customer authentication and authorization platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git and GitLab, Linux system administration, and written technical documentation.
• Strong customer service mindset and willingness to support internal and customer-facing documentation.

Nice to have

• Apache NiFi, Elasticsearch, and Kibana familiarity.
• Knowledge of map-reduce analytic environments such as Hadoop.
• Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
• Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
• Frontend UI development experience.
