Motion Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area; San Francisco strongly preferred. Based in San Francisco or ready to relocate to the United States. Regular in-person collaboration and occasional travel to partner sites and hirify.global offices are expected.

hirify.global builds AI-native operating systems for large, regulated institutions in government, insurance, healthcare, and financial services.

What you will do

• Define and own the motion vocabulary across marketing, product demos, social, events, and film.
• Extend the visual identity into launch videos, explainer animations, conference visuals, and other time-based media.
• Partner with product design to establish easing, loading states, transitions, and micro-interactions.
• Build demos and films that support business development with governments, healthcare systems, and critical industries.
• Establish AI-assisted motion production tools, workflows, and visual systems.
• Produce finished motion work hands-on as the first motion hire on the brand team.

Requirements

• Brand design foundation in typography, composition, and systems thinking, with motion as the primary medium of expression.
• Fluency in After Effects and Rive.
• Experience creating motion frameworks that enable other designers to produce consistent work.
• Experience owning the motion dimension of a brand in-house or as an agency lead.
• Ability to defend design decisions in live critique and explain their relevance to the brand.
• Genuine curiosity about AI generation tools and informed judgment about their appropriate use.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cinema 4D or Blender.
