Fundraising Manager, Walk to End Alzheimer's

Location: Remote based in Ocala, FL or The Villages, FL; travel up to 60% within the assigned territory by car, with occasional overnight or air travel.

Salary: $57,000–$67,000 per year, plus a performance-based incentive opportunity of up to $13,000.

What you will do

• Implement and manage multiple Walk to End Alzheimer’s peer-to-peer fundraising events annually.
• Build and maintain relationships with community and corporate leaders, sponsors, participants, and event teams.
• Recruit, manage, train, and coach volunteer committees to deliver fundraising and participation goals.
• Develop community partnerships and strategies that increase revenue, participation, and brand awareness.
• Manage event budgets, timelines, milestones, data, and fundraising outcomes.
• Work with internal and external partners to create inclusive community engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience recruiting and mobilizing volunteers or successfully meeting sales targets.
• Experience developing corporate relationships, partnerships, and community connections.
• Ability to manage large numbers of volunteers and work independently in a highly matrixed organization.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, good driving record, and proof of automobile insurance required.
• Availability for up to 60% travel, some evenings and weekends, and physical work including lifting up to 25 lbs. required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Luminate/Convio software or ability to learn it quickly.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and social media.
