Location: Hybrid in Orlando, Florida: four days per week on-site and one day remote, rotating among Orlando Regional Medical Center, Orlando Health South Lake, and Orlando Health Lake Mary.
Salary: USD 55,000 yearly base salary, plus an incentive bonus tied to enrollment performance.

What you will do
- Educate patients and families about the Health Insurance Premium Payment program using clear, compassionate, and culturally sensitive communication.
- Collect authorizations, employer information, insurance details, and other documentation required for HIPP applications.
- Identify and resolve enrollment barriers while meeting targets for completed enrollments, case resolution time, and documentation accuracy.
- Coordinate with the Patient Financial Assistance team, hospital staff, state agency personnel, and community partners.
- Verify ongoing eligibility, explain how employer-sponsored insurance coordinates with Medicaid, and help resolve insurance-related issues.
- Manage referrals and patient records in the CRM or case management system, securely upload documentation, and represent PFA as the on-site hospital contact.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, plus formal training in customer service, patient services, healthcare administration, social services, or case management.
- Foundational knowledge of healthcare terminology and insurance processes.
- Full bilingual proficiency in English and either Haitian Creole or Spanish.
- Ability to pass hospital credentialing requirements, including vaccinations and drug/alcohol screening.
- Empathetic communication, active listening, cultural competence, de-escalation skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Ability to use CRM or case management systems, interpret medical billing and insurance documents, and operate Apple devices such as iPads and iPhones.
Nice to have
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in social work, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in patient-facing healthcare roles.
- Training in motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, medical billing/coding, Medicaid or Medicare eligibility, health equity, or patient advocacy.
