Global Organic Service Line Leader (Organic Certification)

Location: Remote, based in Italy, with occasional international travel.

What you will do

• Define and deliver the global growth strategy for organic certification services.
• Identify priority markets, customers, routes to market, strategic partnerships, and potential M&A targets.
• Oversee technical capability, accreditation, regulatory readiness, standards, policies, and guidance across global organic operations.
• Strengthen auditor, inspector, and certification-team capability through training, calibration, and development planning.
• Review operating models, systems, customer experience, inspection management, and certification decision-making.
• Coordinate country teams to standardize best practices and support profitable growth while respecting local regulations.

Requirements

• Significant experience in organic certification, organic agriculture, food certification, inspection, or a closely related TIC environment.
• Strong understanding of global organic markets, certification schemes, regulatory frameworks, and trade or export requirements.
• Commercial experience in business development, strategic partnerships, key-account engagement, or market expansion.
• Technical credibility with auditors, inspectors, certification teams, regulators, and customers.
• Experience leading international, cross-functional, or multi-country teams and influencing stakeholders without direct reporting lines.
• Fluent English is essential; the role must be based in Italy and requires international travel.

• Italian or other European languages.
• Experience with integration work, operating-model improvement, or M&A assessment.
