International Certification and Operations Coordinator (Organic and Food Safety)

Location: Hybrid role between home and the Bologna office, Italy

What you will do

• Manage the International Desk in Italy and coordinate technical and accreditation oversight for international offices and partner offices.
• Work with quality teams in Italy and other countries to ensure deadlines and certification requirements are met.
• Organize and support training for new inspectors, including communication and milestone tracking.
• Maintain relationships with current partners and identify opportunities to develop new partnerships.
• Ensure offices and partners comply with technical and accreditation requirements, including calibration, training, and witness audits.
• Support integrity programme visits by accreditation bodies, regulatory bodies, and standards owners.

Requirements

• Experience in certification, preferably organic certification or food safety, including leadership of technical or scheme office teams.
• Practical knowledge of accreditation processes and a strong technical background.
• Strong project coordination, cross-functional collaboration, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, results-oriented approach and ability to work in international and multicultural contexts.
• Good English is required for international collaboration.
• Availability to travel as required.
