What you will do

• Own cybersecurity topics within industrial energy projects and translate customer requirements into technical IT and OT security measures.
• Develop and coordinate project-specific security concepts and assess system and network architectures.
• Perform risk, vulnerability, and threat assessments, evaluate vulnerabilities, and define mitigation measures.
• Define and implement hardening measures for automation systems, network components, servers, workstations, firewalls, and switches.
• Support vulnerability scans, security testing, and penetration testing, including Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Coordinate solutions with engineering, software, network, automation, commissioning, customer, and supplier teams, and document implemented security measures.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Professional experience in industrial cybersecurity, with a solid understanding of IT, OT, and industrial automation or control systems.
• Knowledge of network architectures, firewalls, routing, switching, network segmentation, and industrial server and client systems.
• Experience with system hardening, vulnerability assessment and management, and Threat and Risk Assessments.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443, NIS2, and the Cyber Resilience Act; familiarity with NERC CIP and BDEW is advantageous.
• Very good English required for collaboration with international projects, customers, and partners; German is a plus.
