Mid-Level QA Specialist (Playwright)

Location: Remote. Applicants from Serbia, Bosnia, the European Union, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Montenegro, and Ukraine are welcome, provided they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET.

What you will do

• Test web applications and native Android and iOS applications through functional, regression, exploratory, risk-based, edge-case, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Design and execute automated test plans using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Investigate customer complaints by reproducing issues, reconstructing user sessions, and distinguishing product defects from data or third-party failures.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and enforce quality gates on every merge.
• Validate APIs with Postman or equivalent tools and verify data correctness with SQL queries against Postgres.
• Test complete user flows across the product, Mixpanel, payment provider dashboards, Customer.io, and the database; document and prioritize defects precisely.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in a product or SaaS environment.
• Strong test automation experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Solid API testing experience with Postman or a similar tool.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Postgres-level data validation.
• Experience testing subscription funnels, checkout flows, or payment systems.
• Fluent English and availability within approximately ± 4 hours of CET are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance or load testing tools such as k6 or Locust.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Sentry or Better Stack.
• Background in fintech, subscription, or health and wellness digital products.
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
