Cloud CCoE Intern (AWS)

Location: Waterford, Ireland; fully on-site at the Waterford office for the duration of the internship

What you will do

• Rotate between Cloud Configuration & Compliance and Cloud Partner Engineering teams within the Cloud Centre of Excellence.
• Analyse AWS cloud configuration, compliance, and security findings; review trends and support remediation tracking.
• Assist with compliance monitoring, automated evidence collection, audit support, and related documentation.
• Support customer requests, cloud onboarding, account lifecycle activities, service requests, and guidance for application teams.
• Help with operational and incident-related support by gathering information, documenting actions, and updating tickets.
• Build or improve simple cloud services, scripts, dashboards, and reporting outputs while identifying automation and process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Eligibility: current third-year degree student whose internship or work placement is mandatory for the degree program.
• Must return to studies after the internship and provide confirmation from the educational institution that the placement is a course requirement.
• Passion for technology and cloud services, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
• Interest in problem-solving, continuous learning, cloud security, compliance, and customer-focused delivery.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Knowledge or interest in AWS concepts including IaaS, PaaS, identity and access management, tagging, monitoring, and cloud security fundamentals.
