Senior Platform Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Madrid, Spain. Work from abroad is available for up to six weeks per year with team alignment.

What you will do

• Design and implement security architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments.
• Secure containerized and Kubernetes deployments, Infrastructure as Code, service meshes, zero-trust networks, and DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Secure AI-powered features, including context assembly, tool invocation, output handling, RAG implementations, and agentic solutions.
• Build defenses against prompt injection and other adversarial inputs while protecting sensitive data in inference, retrieval, and fine-tuning workflows.
• Lead incident response, monitoring, detection, threat modeling, risk assessments, and regular security assessments.
• Collaborate with development, data science, and operations teams and communicate security requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of information security experience, including at least 3 years specializing in cloud security.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience securing Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience securing AI/ML or LLM-based systems.
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider and expert knowledge of cloud-native, container, and Kubernetes security.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, network security, identity and access control, CSPM tooling, and security automation.
• Working knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, LLM security, and scripting or programming with Python, Go, or Bash.

Nice to have

• Experience with OWASP LLM Top 10, AI governance, or compliance requirements.
• Experience securing multi-tenant AI infrastructure and applying differential privacy or federated learning.
• Open-source security contributions, public security research, or experience building security tools and automation frameworks.
