Senior Trust Security Analyst (UK Sovereign)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid role. UK citizenship and the ability to pass and maintain SC clearance are required.

What you will do

• Act as the primary security and trust contact for UK Sovereign customers and prospects.
• Own responses to SIG, CAIQ, VSA, MoD, UK government, and bespoke enterprise security questionnaires.
• Respond to customer security inquiries and translate technical controls into clear business language.
• Maintain the trust center, security documentation, whitepapers, certifications, and reusable responses.
• Assess UK Sovereign security posture and track vulnerability remediation through structured POA&M reports.
• Prepare monthly security updates, interpret audit findings, and coordinate follow-up across engineering, security, legal, sales, and customer teams.

Requirements

• UK citizenship and eligibility to pass and maintain SC clearance.
• At least 5 years of experience in security, GRC, trust, or technical customer-facing roles.
• Hands-on experience with SIG, CAIQ, VSA, and enterprise or government security questionnaires.
• Working knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, and at least one of PCI DSS, GDPR/UK GDPR, HIPAA, or FedRAMP.
• Strong understanding of security architecture, vulnerability management, access control, encryption, incident response, network security, and secure SDLC.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, SaaS security models, audit reports, customer communication, and high-volume stakeholder coordination.

• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSK, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or Security+.
• Experience with UK Sovereign, MoD, or UK government environments and POA&M reporting.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Whistic, Vanta Trust, or Drata Trust.
• Familiarity with AI/ML security, NIST AI RMF, or ISO 42001.
• Leadership, line management, or experience in regulated, high-pressure environments.
