What you will do
- Define test strategies, test plans, release gates, and risk assessments, including go/no-go recommendations.
- Lead the internal QA team and outsourced testing vendors while tracking quality KPIs.
- Coordinate defect triage, post-incident root-cause analysis, and continuous QA process improvement.
- Oversee functional, API, mobile, and WeChat mini-program testing.
- Promote test automation and shift-left practices within CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner with product, engineering, and MarTech teams across global and APAC time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of software testing experience, including at least 2 years as a QA Lead.
- Experience managing QA teams and external testing vendors in Agile delivery.
- Proficiency with Jira, Zephyr, Postman, and SQL; familiarity with Playwright, Appium, or Selenium.
- Written and fluent spoken English required for cross-timezone global meetings.
- Target location: Shanghai, China.
Nice to have
- Experience with hospitality membership or booking platforms.
- Performance testing experience.
- Knowledge of Alibaba Cloud or AWS.
- Fluent oral English.
