QA Lead (Cyberpunk)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; in-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity. Relocation to Poland is required for candidates residing abroad. Working hours: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM for overlap with the Boston team.

Salary: 23,900–32,800 PLN gross monthly. The role may include a long-term incentive program with an option to purchase company stock after the vesting period.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop the gameplay QA team, promoting accountability, role clarity, and continuous skill growth.
• Translate the Cyberpunk 2 QA strategy into practical testing approaches, measurable outcomes, and team priorities.
• Own testing execution and milestone verification while monitoring gameplay quality, KPIs, bug trends, risks, blockers, and project readiness.
• Coordinate with development, production, technology, shared development services, QA experts, other QA managers, and external QA vendors.
• Improve QA workflows, tools, testing frameworks, documentation, reporting models, dashboards, and testing practices.
• Support complex investigations, issue analysis, debugging, performance analysis, crash analysis, and memory investigations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience leading or managing QA teams and at least 5 years of direct performance management and career development experience.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, defect management, test planning, test coverage, QA practices, and quality reporting.
• Experience with game engines and editors, preferably Unreal Engine, including Unreal Insights, engine profiling, and crash debugging.
• Experience developing testing strategies covering integration, stress, performance, stability, tools, engine, platform, and technical feature validation.
• Experience with QA metrics, KPIs, bug trends, test documentation, dashboards, and cross-location or distributed QA teams.
• English proficiency at a minimum C1 level and availability to work 10:00 AM–6:00 PM are required.

Nice to have

• Experience working on AAA titles.
• Experience with user experience research, focus groups, usability testing, and player feedback.
• Experience with automation frameworks, automated test authorship, build verification, CI/CD pipelines, or technical validation workflows.
• Interest in the Cyberpunk universe and passion for high-quality player experiences in large-scale RPGs.
