Chip Production Operator (Quantum Computing)

Location: hirify.global Finland, Espoo. Onsite chip production with shift work when production requires it.

What you will do

• Assemble, bond, and package diced, front-end processed chips into test-ready QPU packages according to SOPs and BKMs.
• Operate dicing, chip-cleaning, probing, flip-chip bonding, sample-holder preparation, and wire-bonding equipment.
• Monitor equipment status and bond quality, investigate defects and alignment issues, and escalate process anomalies to the Production Engineer.
• Move chips through assembly stations while meeting output targets and preventing production bottlenecks.
• Record station check-ins, check-outs, and process results in MES and Jira to maintain complete traceability.
• Maintain cleanroom discipline, contamination control, workstation 5S standards, and clear shift handovers.

Requirements

• At least one year of hands-on laboratory experience.
• A degree from a university of applied sciences or an equivalent amount of relevant work experience.
• Strong manual precision, fine-motor accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to follow process and safety instructions exactly.
• Ability to work in shifts when production requires it and contribute to team goals.
• Professional-level English required.

Nice to have

• Cleanroom or hands-on production experience in semiconductors, electronics, precision assembly, or a related industry.
• Experience with dicing saws, wire bonders, flip-chip bonders, or probe stations.
• Technical communication skills and experience with MES or Jira-based production tracking.
