Senior IT Security Professional – FEC CDD Detection

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands; hybrid work with a balance between home and office

Salary: €5,994–€8,563 gross per month for a 36-hour work week

What you will do

• Lead information security within the FEC CDD Detection Area and advise teams on IT risks and security decisions.
• Embed secure design, coding, testing, and operations throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Coordinate vulnerability management and incident response, helping teams address related risks.
• Improve compliance and audit readiness through security controls, evidence, reporting, and risk assessments.
• Work with technical leads, architects, and product teams to build and operate secure solutions.
• Coach teams on secure-by-design practices, DevSecOps, and practical security improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information security, IT, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity and IT risk management.
• 5–10 years of experience in banking, financial services, fraud prevention, sanctions, or another regulated environment.
• Experience with Databricks, Camunda, or Azure security, plus familiarity with DevSecOps and penetration testing.
• Knowledge of secure SDLC, OWASP Top 10, threat modeling, IAM, encryption, vulnerability management, security monitoring, cloud security, Zero Trust, and security automation.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, coaching, mentoring, analytical thinking, and risk-based decision-making skills; CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification.

Nice to have

• CEH, CCSP, Microsoft Security, AWS security, GISF, or GIAC certifications.
• Knowledge of Pega or Pega Cloud.
• Experience with operational resilience and SaaS security solutions.
