Database Administrator (iGaming)

What you will do

• Manage daily operations for the global database platform, from initial setup through tooling development.
• Administer high-volume databases in a complex production environment.
• Plan and execute database administration activities to maximize stability and availability.
• Install and upgrade databases and high-availability solutions.
• Develop automation, monitoring, and operational tooling.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for database-related production incidents.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with MySQL database administration.
• Understanding of general IT concepts, networks, and Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Basic to intermediate scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar tools.
• Ability to solve moderately complex technical problems and work collaboratively.
• Proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous technical development.

Nice to have

• Knowledge or hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS database services.
• Experience running databases on Kubernetes, particularly with MySQL/MariaDB or PostgreSQL operators.
