Junior Automation QA Engineer (iGaming)

Location: Sportyvna Square, 1a, Kyiv, Ukraine; fully equipped office in the city centre.

What you will do

• Review requirements and specifications and prepare checklists, test suites, and test plans.
• Perform functional, load, stress, mobile, UI, and API testing.
• Design, implement, execute, and maintain automated tests for Android and iOS hybrid applications.
• Build and maintain test frameworks using Appium, TestNG, Selenium, and Java.
• Configure test environments, test data, device farms, and CI/CD test execution.
• Analyze results and failures, distinguish real defects from flaky tests, and track issues in Jira.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software testing experience, including 1+ year in test automation.
• Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, Agile practices, and test documentation.
• Base programming skills in Java and experience with Selenium, Appium, TestNG, REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP, SQL, and relational databases.
• Experience with Git or SVN, Jira, Confluence, TestRail, and BDD, ATDD, or TDD approaches.
• Effective written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI-powered coding tools such as Cursor.
