2027 Guardian Summer Intern, Financial Reporting & Accounting (Finance)

What you will do

• Monitor and review administration system processing, including system-generated accounting.
• Support the monthly financial close by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for the Individual Markets business.
• Prepare in-depth financial analysis for internal Finance & Risk customers.
• Learn about Guardian’s products, services, values, and operating practices.
• Collaborate with leaders, mentors, team members, and other interns while building a professional network.

Requirements

• Current college junior graduating in May 2028.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Interest in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk and willingness to learn different functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work the full internship program from May 27, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.
