Program Coordinator (Workforce Development)

Location: Bryan, Texas, with program activities in Corpus Christi and Brownsville, Texas

Salary: $6,454.33 per month

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service provides emergency response training, workforce training, technical assistance, cybersecurity, infrastructure and safety, law enforcement, economic and workforce development, and homeland security programs.

What you will do

• Coordinate TEEX Workforce Development Programs at the COAST and RAM advanced training hubs.
• Collaborate with points of contact at host locations.
• Assist with marketing training and technical assistance programs.
• Coordinate training schedules and class deliveries.
• Monitor instructor and class performance.
• Manage the assigned fiscal budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of program coordination or related experience.
• A valid motor vehicle operator’s license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Equivalent qualifications may include seven years of related experience with an associate degree or nine years of related experience with a high school diploma or GED.
• Employment is contingent on credential verification and completion of a criminal history check.
