Location: Redwood City, California, United States; onsite at least three days per week, with Tuesday–Thursday mandatory

Salary: $260,000–$359,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead the translational science strategy and integrated clinical biomarker strategy across the portfolio.
• Oversee biomarker assay development, validation, and implementation for clinical trials and development decisions.
• Guide mechanism-of-action, pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, patient-selection, and precision medicine strategies.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Regulatory, CMC, Bioinformatics, and Nonclinical Research teams from discovery through clinical development.
• Lead translational and biomarker content for INDs, IBs, BLAs, clinical protocols, abstracts, and manuscripts.
• Build external collaborations and develop a high-performing translational medicine team.

Requirements

• PhD in immunology, cancer biology, molecular biology, or a related discipline, with 10–15+ years of relevant experience.
• Deep expertise in immunology and immuno-oncology, including tumor microenvironment, immune regulation, and immune dysfunction.
• Demonstrated experience advancing translational medicine and biomarker programs from IND through early and late clinical development.
• Experience with cellular immunology and cell-based therapeutics, including T cells, NK cells, or CAR-T/NK products.
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and leading cross-functional development strategies.
• Ability to work onsite at least three days per week, with Tuesday–Thursday mandatory.
