Strategic Finance Expert (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, prioritizing applicants based in Mexico City or São Paulo. The hybrid model combines office work, customer interactions or visits, and working from home.

What you will do

• Maintain the consolidated corporate finance model, monthly forecasts, financial KPIs, balance sheet, and cash flow projections.
• Improve financial reporting, operational efficiency, SG&A oversight, budgeting, and cost optimization.
• Build TAM analyses, business cases, financial projections, and ROI evaluations for new products and features.
• Develop reporting dashboards and analytical tools, including AI-enabled workflows, for finance and executive leadership.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to sales, growth, product, and other business teams.
• Prepare board packs, investor updates, fundraising data room materials, and supporting financial analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, management consulting, and/or data science.
• Strong ability to build scalable financial models in Excel and perform unit economics, working capital, cash flow, and customer acquisition analyses.
• Active experience using AI tools to build custom workflows, dashboards, and applications for complex financial analysis.
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and either Spanish or Portuguese is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in startups or fintech.
• Management consulting experience at an MBB firm.
