Financial Analyst / Data Analyst (FP&A)

Location: Remote from Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, or Mexico; working hours aligned with U.S. client business hours

hirify.global is hiring for a client seeking a Financial Analyst / Data Analyst to support strategic decisions through financial and operational analysis.

What you will do

• Build and maintain three-statement financial models, budgets, forecasts, rolling projections, and scenario analyses.
• Query, clean, transform, and analyze financial and operational data using SQL and spreadsheet or programming tools.
• Design and maintain dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, executive summaries, and board-level presentations.
• Validate data across systems, document models and assumptions, and improve reporting governance and automation.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Leadership to present insights and recommendations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or data analytics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, advanced formulas, and financial modeling.
• Strong SQL skills, including data extraction, joins, and query optimization.
• Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business decision support.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; work during U.S. client business hours is required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and business skills with attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
• Experience in SaaS, finance, healthcare, or similar industries.
• Experience building executive dashboards and automated reporting.
