Software Engineer - Test Automation (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated UI test suites for Windows desktop applications, including reusable components, object repositories, and wrappers.
• Create and extend automated tests for REST interfaces and service integrations, improving pipeline notifications, dashboards, and regression coverage.
• Own end-to-end validation of software and hardware-integrated semiconductor products, combining automation with targeted manual testing where needed.
• Build automation infrastructure for complex bench and tool environments involving hardware, databases, and an internal testing framework.
• Plan test strategies and coordinate validation activities with engineering, algorithms, systems, hardware, applications, marketing, and manufacturing teams.
• Use intelligent algorithms, business logic, Power BI, dashboards, and reporting tools to identify and communicate software failure root causes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in software test automation or related engineering work.
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience, master's degree with 3 years, or doctorate with 0 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in one or more of C++, C#, Java, Python, or R.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras, plus algorithms, data structures, statistical methods, and data preprocessing.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database skills, including profiling, scaling, and tuning relational and non-relational databases.
• Understanding of system requirements, software design, computer architecture, design patterns, UI frameworks, and API design.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes, MySQL, Hadoop, BigQuery, or other open-source databases.
• Experience with continuous integration tools and processes, especially Jenkins.
• Experience with REST API testing tools and automation frameworks such as Postman or RestSharp.
