Commodity Buyer - GT Order Execution (Transformers)

Location: Hybrid role in São Paulo/Jundiaí, Brazil

What you will do

• Develop purchasing strategies and sourcing plans for transformer and switchgear order execution projects.
• Coordinate end-to-end purchase order execution, procurement transactions, approvals, requisitions, and supply plans in SAP.
• Prepare requests for quotation, develop suppliers, and evaluate domestic and international market conditions.
• Negotiate prices, commercial terms, quality requirements, framework agreements, and pricing agreements.
• Manage key supplier relationships, conduct business reviews and supplier visits, and resolve delivery and quality issues.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement across procurement performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Preferably five years of relevant experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, commodity management, or contract management.
• Demonstrated success delivering cost savings and value through strategic sourcing and supplier analysis.
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system for purchase orders, supplier data, and procurement transactions.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Brazil without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Fluent English is required.
