Sr. Human Resource Business Partner

Location: West Hills, California, United States; fully onsite with daily and consistent attendance required

What you will do

• Advise executives, managers, and business leaders on workforce strategy, organizational design, succession planning, and talent initiatives.
• Coach leaders on performance management, employee development, accountability, communication, and team effectiveness.
• Lead complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and performance improvement processes.
• Analyze workforce trends and metrics to improve retention, engagement, productivity, and organizational capability.
• Support organizational change, leadership development, HR technology improvements, and scalable HR programs and policies.
• Guide compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including wage and hour requirements, accommodations, and leaves of absence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, organizational development, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including 3+ years in an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Generalist, Employee Relations, or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance requirements.
• Significant experience with complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, performance management, corrective action, and leader coaching.
• Experience supporting exempt and non-exempt employees, using HRIS platforms, reporting tools, and workforce analytics.
• Strong business acumen, communication, influence, conflict resolution, prioritization, and relationship-building skills.

Nice to have

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
• Experience supporting multi-state employers and partnering directly with executive leadership teams.
• Experience leading organizational change and developing leadership or talent management programs.
• Advanced knowledge of workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design.
