Senior Accountant, DC Construction - Project Accounting (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Dallas, TX, United States; onsite role. Applicants must have U.S. work authorization that does not require current or future company sponsorship and must satisfy U.S. export-control access requirements.

Base salary: $98,000–$130,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Maintain daily records of capital spend and ensure transactions are coded to the correct project, phase, entity, and location.
• Support project setup, cost hierarchies, asset mapping, and the flow of project costs between NetSuite and SiteTracker.
• Prepare monthly accruals, reversals, cost-to-complete schedules, and allocations of shared capital costs.
• Prepare capitalization, in-service, useful-life, CIP, liability, reconciliation, and variance-analysis schedules.
• Maintain SOX 404 documentation, support internal and external audits, and resolve outstanding accounting items.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities while collaborating with accounting, finance, construction, and operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience in capital, construction, or fixed asset accounting.
• Experience preparing accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules on a fixed close calendar.
• Understanding of CIP-to-fixed-asset capitalization, useful-life determinations, and U.S. GAAP.
• Strong Excel skills, ERP experience, and the ability to work accurately with large data sets; NetSuite experience is an advantage.
• Experience working cross-functionally, prioritizing under pressure, and exercising sound judgment with incomplete data.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future sponsorship is required, along with eligibility to access export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Fixed asset or capital accounting experience in data centers or comparable capital-intensive infrastructure.
• Experience with project costing modules or construction cost systems such as NetSuite project costing or SiteTracker.
• Public accounting experience, CPA candidacy, or experience working with AI tools.
