Attorney - Financial Services (Fintech)

Location: Bloomington, Illinois, United States

Base pay: $100,800–$138,600 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Advise Illinois Farm Bureau and affiliated companies on a broad range of legal matters.
• Provide legal planning, research, investigation, and written advice.
• Review corporate materials that are important to company operations and governance.
• Support corporate governance, regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, employment matters, and litigation.
• Contribute to projects involving agriculture, banking and securities, contracts, insurance, e-commerce, e-discovery, employee benefits, intellectual property, real estate, tax, and transactional law.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Licensed to practice law in the United States.
• Ability to obtain full or in-house Illinois bar admission within one year.
• Current with continuing legal education requirements established by the applicable licensing body.
