AI Engineering Manager (AI/RPA): Leading the design, development, and scaling of intelligent automation solutions with an accent on LLM integration, production engineering, and technical team growth. Location: Remote role for a Ukraine Private Entrepreneur, either in Ukraine or abroad

What you will do
- Lead, mentor, hire, and develop a team of AI and automation engineers.
- Set technical direction, architecture standards, tooling choices, and AI integration practices.
- Write, review, and ship production code while acting as technical lead for complex implementations.
- Own the project portfolio, prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Partner with business and technology leadership to define automation opportunities, roadmaps, and ROI.
- Establish development, testing, deployment, monitoring, governance, incident management, and documentation practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in automation engineering, software engineering, or AI/ML development.
- Hands-on experience with RPA platforms such as UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, or similar.
- Production experience integrating AI and LLM technologies such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Azure AI.
- Strong proficiency in Python or a similar language, with experience shipping production code.
- Experience with cloud platforms and AI services, technical team leadership, project management, data analysis, Excel, and SQL.
Nice to have
- Experience building or scaling an automation or AI Center of Excellence.
- Familiarity with process mining, automation governance, and AI risk or compliance frameworks.
- Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, or platform licensing.
- UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform, PMP, or AI/ML certifications.
