Maintenance Project Planning Coordinator (SAP PM)

Location: Onsite in South Brunswick, NJ, USA; day shift.

Salary: USD 44,996–64,280 per year.

What you will do

• Plan and prepare maintenance-led projects and engineering-supported work for internal execution.
• Create job plans covering scope, work steps, labor requirements, tools, and safety considerations.
• Identify, order, stage, and kit materials, parts, and tools before work begins.
• Coordinate project readiness with Engineering, Maintenance Supervisors, Stores, and Operations.
• Create and maintain work orders and project tasks in SAP Plant Maintenance.
• Track schedules, resolve planning gaps, collect execution feedback, and improve planning and kitting processes.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical field preferred, or equivalent hands-on maintenance or operations experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, project planning, or a related role.
• Understanding of maintenance work execution, job readiness, work orders, job plans, and material staging.
• Experience working with maintenance and engineering teams on equipment or facility projects.
• Ability to organize complex work, manage priorities, and coordinate multiple projects.
• Clear communication and strong attention to preparation and execution quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
• Background in maintenance supervision, reliability, or project coordination.
• Experience with maintenance or capital project planning and kitting.
• Experience with contractor cost reduction, in-sourcing, Lean, or continuous improvement initiatives.
