Analyst, Compensation Administration

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site and the remaining days remote

What you will do

• Reconcile and administer pay adjustments, commission payouts, and related accounting data.
• Investigate discrepancies, track exceptions, resolve compensation inquiries, and identify root causes.
• Prepare monthly reports, financial journals, attestations, issue resolutions, and commission analyses.
• Support process improvements, commission processing, accounting functions, audits, and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, vendors, BFS/Broadridge, and centralized teams on system enhancements and UAT testing.
• Manage compensation data using spreadsheets and databases while communicating detailed findings clearly.

Requirements

• Experience with commission processing and/or complex reconciliations.
• Knowledge of general ledger accounts, accounting practices, processes, and terminology.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, spreadsheet, database, and data management skills.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, investigation skills, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to provide a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Ability to work in the hybrid Toronto arrangement, including 1–3 on-site days per week.
