Senior iOS Developer (SwiftUI)

Location: Canada. Compensation information applies to candidates hired to work in Ontario.

Total compensation: $125,000–$140,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop innovative features and user-focused workflows for the hirify.global POS iOS application.
• Design and implement efficient iOS applications using SwiftUI.
• Balance new feature development with maintenance of existing integrations and capabilities for new markets.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Team Leads, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, grooming sessions, and solution delivery.
• Own code quality, system reliability, infrastructure robustness, and continuous improvement of iOS engineering practices.

Requirements

• Advanced programming skills in SwiftUI.
• Knowledge of Structured Concurrency, UIKit, Swift, SQLite, Core Data, REST APIs, and Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.
• Experience writing automated unit and functional tests.
• Conceptual understanding of software design and code quality.
• Experience using AI tools and implementing agentic workflows.
• Ability to work in Canada; the compensation details specifically apply to Ontario.

Nice to have

• Experience with local network communication and external hardware accessories such as payment terminals and printers.
• Experience with blockchain.
