Location: 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, Massachusetts, United States; 100% onsite

Salary: $109,096–$129,594.40 per year; $20,000 sign-on incentive for external hires

What you will do

• Perform technical procedures within breast imaging and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain patient, staff, environmental, infection-control, and radiation safety standards.
• Operate, maintain, and perform quality control on imaging systems and devices.
• Transfer, archive, retrieve, and manage imaging datasets and maintain accurate records.
• Explain procedures compassionately to patients and support patient flow using scheduling and electronic medical record systems.
• Participate in departmental education, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance and quality improvement programs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited imaging technology program, such as radiography or nuclear medicine.
• Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License in radiography.
• Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License in mammography, or ability to obtain it within one year of hire.
• Current ARRT Radiography registration and ARRT Mammography registration, or ability to obtain mammography registration within one year of hire.
• Current BLS certification, or ability to obtain active certification within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication, organization, confidentiality, customer service, and time-management skills; one to two years of hospital-based experience is preferred.
