Location: Vancouver Campus, Vancouver, BC, Canada
Salary: $6,143.67–$8,830.25 CAD monthly

What you will do
- Lead day-to-day administrative operations and supervise administrative support staff.
- Manage the full accounting and budget cycle, including financial reporting, forecasts, controls, capital expenditures, and year-end processes.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate operational and financial policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Advise the Executive Director and senior leaders on administrative protocols, financial processes, human resources support, facilities, equipment, and records management.
- Oversee onboarding, accessibility coordination, workflow improvements, and professional development support for staff.
- Coordinate internal and external events, including planning, resource deployment, communications support, and post-event evaluation.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and at least two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, respectful collaboration, and learning from diverse and conflicting perspectives.
- Experience with administrative operations, financial procedures, policy improvement, and supervising or supporting staff.
- Strong judgment, tact, discretion, diplomacy, accuracy, prioritization, and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Excellent command of English, with professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and project management software, plus the ability to learn new information technologies quickly.
Nice to have
- University degree in business administration and senior administrative experience in a university or large complex organization.
- Experience with event planning, change management, conflict engagement, accessibility, human rights, employment equity, decolonization, and Truth and Reconciliation.
- Experience applying an equity and inclusion lens to policies, decisions, and day-to-day interactions.
