What you will do

• Design and evaluate integrated optical and photonic sensor solutions for lithography systems.
• Perform optical simulations and analyze system performance data.
• Develop and maintain test software using MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar tools.
• Plan, execute, and document laboratory and system-level experiments, including optical testing, characterization, and alignment.
• Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and recommend design improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers, researchers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD.
• Degree in Optical Engineering, Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with integrated optics, photonic integrated circuits, or optical sensor systems.
• Experience with MATLAB, Lumerical, LabVIEW, KLayout, or related engineering tools.
• Ability to apply optics, physics, and engineering principles, analyze data, troubleshoot complex systems, and communicate technical findings.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under United States export regulations before beginning work.
